Hi Jim, no it does not have a lever on the left side dash. Clutch has 1/2 inch of play. I don't think it is a clutch problem because it would grab hold after revving the motor for 20-30 seconds, unless the clutch gets hot from friction and takes hold but you could not detect any clutch smell. After it would grab and take hold, it had lots of power until you let off the throttle or push in the clutch. Then you would loose all forward movement,and need to rev to get it back. Now you can rev all day and all you notice is it trying to move with small jerking motions, Thanks Brad
