I've had a big oil leak from between the front gear cover and the engine block ever since I've owned my 806. I've got her torn down now for a front end swap and have pulled the gear cover off to fix the leak. Trouble is, I'm not sure how to get the steel plate off that goes between the block and the gear cover. I know that there's a gasket that goes on each side of it, but it looks like it might be a big job to get that plate off. I hope not to have to pull the cam or any pressed gears off if I can avoid it. Any advice would be appreciated
