Hi all, I've recently received blades for my Woods l59 deck mounted on my 140 (the old blades finally croaked) but much to my dismay, the blades that were ordered are backwards. The parts guys I dealt with assured me that they were the correct blades for this deck. Here's the question. My PTO turns clockwise (I know some Farmalls turn the other way) - when sitting in the seat of the tractor looking down at the deck, the blades are turning counterclockwise. For those of you with 140s or knowledge of 140s, can you verify that your PTO turns clockwise? Also in this setup, with the blades turning counterclockwise, would they be considered "right handed" or "left handed" blades...the parts guy had no idea (last time I use this place). I considered simply mounting the backwards new blades and putting a half turn in the belt from the PTO to the deck, but it won't work because the relay pulleys are angled to handle the belt one way only. thanks, Pete in PA
