I just bought a 1976 IH 1066, first IH i've ever owned. I like it alot, however, my wife was working my field with it and ran it Almost out of fuel (of course the gauge doesn't work) Anyway, by doing so, she ended up stirring up all the garbage in the bottom of the tank and the tractor doesn't run for long now as the fuel takes forever to seep thru the filters. I replaced the filters already and it ran like a top for about 5 minutes... Now it runs like crap as it can't get enough fuel. What is the best way to completely drain and clean out the tank? I don't have a manual and it does not look easy to take the tank out... All help will be greatly appreciated.
