...Forgot to ask, the coil is hot to the touch even though I installed an external resistor on the + side before the distributor. It's a round shaped one I got from a tractor repair place. Should I put the rectangular shaped Chrysler one on instead ? Or run an ohm check on the coil first ? If so, how many ohms going to + and then going into - distributor ? Thanks again, gatorhide
