If you look closely at the brass "alignment pin", you will see a tiny hole in the end of it about the diameter of a guitar string. I have soaked and blown and scraped it out(with an old guitar string!) My F12 now will run, but only with the choke on. I soaked the whole dismantled carb in cleaner for 2 days, installed a new needle, seat and gaskets with no change. I had heard these carbs could be difficult but I've never run into anything like this before. Good luck on yours and if you come across any info, PLEASE share it!
