im still trying to find a woods mower for my cub,[1948] all the ones so far are over 1500 miles away, [ may have to bite it and go get one], i will need everything,im looking for the 42 single blade now as you all advised that a woods l59 may be a bit much for a cub but just right for an A, this cub never has had the pto even used, but im wondering while the mid mount or rear mount sycle bar mowers are really for cutting hay, what kind of a job will they do on weeds grass and roughstuff, by rough stuff it would be used on ground that has the usual gopher holes sticks and stuff, the farm is flat but im afraid of ruining the knives on one of these things, just wondering if i find one if i could use it what kind of cut does it leave?
