I agree with Brownie. Do check the Gen belt for tension, but the most important thing is battery state of charge. Charge voltage at 2/3 throttle should be 7 to 7.3 volts. if it is in the 6.5 area, it is low. It is normal for a good regulator to keep from overcharging. Jim
