Here are some pictures of the farmall 240 my dad bought at an auction. Also bought the mower for $90. Was recently overhauled, runs good, good hydrolics, new tires. Is this the factory 2pt. fast hitch with an add-on for the 3pt? My 340U has the fast hitch which looks similar as far as the lift part but the arms are different. Also, where were the serial # tags located on these? I looked all around the clutch housing and I think the tag must have been removed. The block # is around 81,000. Does anyone know what causes the pto shaft to not engage and just spin freely when tractor is not running? I think the pto is the only thing that doesn't work on this tractor. Thanks.
