A few years back I took an old tool box off an old junk baler I had. From the paint that was left I knew it was off an old Ferguson. I took a photo of it, and posted on either the Ford or Ferguson board, and knew fairly quickly what it was off of. I cleaned it up and primed it, and listed it, and it brought nearly $50 not including shipping. Again, I would have never paid $50 for one like it, but someone who was restoring a Fergy and was missing one and felt they could not live without it apparently will. And a lot depends on time of day. I have had fair luck finding items listed in the middle of the night, and often they will go cheaper during the middle of the day or late at night than if they sell during hours like 8 PM.
