I'm trying to get the hydraulics to work on my 300 utility I just bought. The pump just get hot when it's running, but it makes no noise and I have no hydraulic pressure. I pulled off the lines that go to the pump. The lower hole which I believe is the feed port to the pump had no fluid running out of it when I took off the lines. I took the breather off the top of the resevoir and put some pressure in it with my air hose and fluid came out off the lower hole. Should fluid run out of the lower hole when the lines are pulled off or is there a baffle in there? I put the lines back on and started the tractor. While it was running I put pressure to the breather again and the pump made some noise like it was trying to pump, but I still couldn't lift my fast hitch. Thanks
