Doubt if there's any appreciable difference.

2. Which would have more power and dependability?

There's only a couple hp difference. The gas is a far better engine in my opinion (based on experience). The 560 (and 460) diesels have chronic problems with leaking heads. This can be solved by having BOTH the head and block shaved to perfect flatness
