With respect, I have two reservations about the process you are using. I would rather have the load close to the frame rail, not out on the end of a nut. A bolted on plate with grab hook welded on is better.
The force that allows you to squish the tires is subtracted from the actual holding power. A chain or fastner perloaded to 50% has only 50% left to hold the forces applied! Just squish enough to show some added tire deflection is better. Respectfully Jim
