If you are going to use redcoat...DO IT BEFORE YOU PAINT!!! If you are painting. My brother in law talked me into sealing the starter tank on SMD after I had just finished restoring. I dumped some in, swirled it around, and propped the tank upside down in a coffee can to drain overnight. Next morning there was about an 1/8 inch of redcoat in the coffee can and NO Dupont Centari left on the starter tank. I assume the fumes stripped it off.
