Your serial no. is a 1944 but super m's were not started until 1952. Alot of people put super m decals on when they repaint. Your M has drum brakes a super m has disc brakes. A few M's had disc brakes at the end of the production run in 1952 but they are rare. The m has a 248 c.i. motor and the sm has 264 c.i.
