Thanks for completing in detail the distributor items Phil. About 5 years ago a neighbor brought down his 1952 JD A with coil/distributor settup. I had it in the barn for a month trying to troubleshoot no spark on weekends. I finally started at the battery and headed toward the plugs. Absolutely everything had to be replaced except for the plugs and plug wires. At that point she popped to life. Even the coil switch was corroded inside!!
