You may have a burned condensor, coil or points. Or your rotor or distributor cap may be burned also. If its been awhile since you have done a tune-up on the tractor, including replacing the condensor, points, rotor, distributor cap, wires, and spark plugs, then I recommend you start from there before replacing the coil. Condensors sometimes fail from the heat and cause an insufficient amount of voltage to jump the spark plug gap. I do a tune up on my Farmalls every couple of years just to keep them running well, but I still use them for farming, including a Super C, Cub Low-Boy and an M.
