I pulled the hood off my Super C today for the first time, and noticed it doesn't have a water pump. Also I think it has a standard C head on it? The casting number on the cylinder head is 251172-R2 and the head on my plain C is 251172-R1...I assume this isn't a water pump, because it looks exactly like the unit on my C. It has the taller radiator, and the temp gauge though?? Also the block casting number is 366204 R3 C123. This thing is starting to seem like a pile of parts bolted together. Can having this head on the engine hurt anything?
