While the piston probably won't suddenly pop out, it might.
If the piston pops out while there is still a quantity of fuel in the cylinder, and it's burning, it's going to spill out on to the outside of the engine block, still burning. There's certainly a buildup of grease and oil on the outside of the engine, so you're going to have a rough time putting the fire out before it engulfs the whole tractor!
