Thank you for the words of wisdom. I removed the fan belt this morning and saw that 2 blades were missing. Im glad I found the second before my mower did. The cause was that the rebuilt carburetor was miss adjusted. I backed out the idle adjustment screw and every thing calmed down when I cranked it. Fortunately no other damage occurred. What is the procedure for removing the radiator? I understand the 2 bolts. How do you remove the steering shaft?
