You are right about the vinyl red and white seats. I am threatening to take mine off my Super H and get one of the silver ones. In the summer after a couple hours sitting on that seat, my butt is soaking wet. My dad bought this Super H new back in 1954 and it came with a silver seat that eventually wore out. We then sat on the bare steel. I replaced it with the vinyl seats when I got it (bad move). Roger
