I posted a few days ago about looking for wheel weights for our 656 Western Special that came factory with stamped 34 inch rims....a few updates...
First of all- Allan- yep, the tires are already loaded with calcium. She's still light on the rear- the loader is a modern Miller with a big heavy bucket, and when that things full of sand, it weighs a LOT...wrapped a chain around it and pulled a corner hedgepost a few years ago, and it lifted the rear tires off the ground, so I know the rear end's light...that'd be an excellent loader for an 806 and up tractor, but it's just always been a bit much for this 656....
Second, and better news, since the weights for the 38 inch rims have a different bolt spacing- I measured the bolt spacing on my 650D, which also has 34's like this 656, and they're the same....which leads me to believe that all I need to do is find weights off any WD-9ish tractor and they'll work.....and it just so happens that a friend has a W-9 with a stuck motor that's completely loaded with weights, both inboard and outboard on the rear rims....time for some sweet-talkin' and see if I can buy some weights and get a "free" W9" in the process!
