H hydrualics

Last week I bought a 1942 H, in decent shape, only to find out (I was greedy) that the hydrualics had been capped. The Farm & Country catalog doesn't list them, and as I'd planned to mount a 3-point hitch, am I stuck with a nice but basically useless piece of history? The only thing left to indicate that hydraulics were present (other than three stubs), is the rod which I assumed activated the hydraulics. What I'm asking is whether it is still possible, for a reasonable price, to bring the hydraulics (or "lift all") back to life?
