The first engine is correct.. as for the second, it is a H engine, manufactured in 1941.. The only problems with having the H engine in the 300 is the lower power produced by the engine, AND there is a possibility oh breaking the cam gear, because the gear for the H is of a lighter design than the 300.. The gear may crack because of the extra load that it may carry because of the hydraulic pump.. BUT, the person who installed the engine may have had the foresight to replace the cam gear with one from a 300, so the possible problem may never be a problem..
