The switch may be bad but I took the wires off of the switch and jumped them then hit the starter.I did this about 6 or 8 times right together and about 4-6 times it started and ran fine. After the times it wouldn't start I jumped from the battery to the - on the coil and it started just fine so I think it is the terminal on the V R. Tomorrow I am going to hook a hot from the ammeter to the switch and from the switch to the coil and see how it works. If it runs fine and charges the battery I will go with this setup for now. Do you guys see any problems with this setup?
