It's been leaking antifreeze into the oil. You can take the drain plug out real easy and get maybe 4 tablespoons full now in a two week period.
So based on advise I got on this forum, I took off the oilpan to see if I can determine where it is coming from.
I took off the pan yesterday.
Today I can clearly see the antifreeze is leaking alongside the piston. The piston was extended about a quarter inch below the block and it was definately coming down beside the piston.
But now that I think about it, I couldn't see clearly enough to determine if it was between the piston and sleeve, or I guess it could be coming in from outside the sleeve.
I guess I better look again closer.
What is this telling me so far?
I am not real well versed when it comes to trouble shooting engines. I am more of an oil change and lube job mechanic, but I learn fast.
