My 31 regular has the # stamped near the clutch
housing in the same place as an F-20. My engine
# does not match the tractor # but the #s are very
close (within 100). This tractor appears to be very original
but I guess its possible that the block was replaced. I read in Red Power that on most tractors, no effort was made to make the engine #s
match the tractor #s although most of the F-20s I
have seen do match.
