Has anyone had at some point both a Farmall Oil pressure guage on an H and then later a numerical guage to see how much pressure the pumps actually produce?
Last weekend I had access to 10w-30 but not straight 30w. I changed the oil and when I started the tractor up the level was displaying close to the "L" on the guage. After warming up and driving for 10 miles it was down to the "O" and after plowing for an hour the pressure was reading right on the border of the white zone and the red zone. I"m replacing the oil with 30w tonight, but wanted to get an idea of what the pressure might be at the red zone, 5 pounds? 10 pouds? What might the pressure be at startup when the needle is at 75%, 30lbs? 50?
