I recall that I had to wait on the tractor an extra month because of just what you are saying. He had the mis matched gears in and had to replace. The thing is it didnt seem to have this whine until just noticing it today. We havent even put 30 hours on it this spring, I didnt notice it all disking yesterday or driving it from here to the field yesterday. Just seem to start being real loud today, about 10 acres into a 30 acres field. Also, when I was coming home and was going down a kinda long hill, and the t/a forward, it seemed like something was jumping, or something, kinda like every now and then a chain jumping sprockets( I know it isnt a chain) but thats kinda what it felt like. Wondering if I should have it checked out before I use it too much more. The guy that did hhe work isnt even doing tracotrs any more, apparently is working in SD like every one else.
