OK the cold Hard Facts about TRACTOR RESTORATION>>>a restoration can take 200 or more hours on a tractor, that means ripping off the sheetmetal, stripping all cast iron and sheet metal, sanding, priming, painting ,new wiring, etc, etc. the average shop is going to charge you between 75.oo to 100.oo bucks and hour to do this plus the cost of paint..you are looking at 2K easy, more like 2500.00 a tractor restoration is something best done by yourself. you might be better off selling the tractor, add the 2K to what you get for it, add another 1K for agrivation and buy one thats been restored or just newer. yea there are guys out there that will do a quick mask and spray for a few hundred but any monkey can do that, and your not really getting nothin.... restoring a tractor is a labor of love. oh all the above prices do not include any kind of mechanical repairs the machine might need... when you see all the pretty pictures of guy's with their restored tractors on this site you can bet they did them themselves..
