I'm working on getting the engine unstuck from rust, and have pulled the head , and came across an interesting situation . Is the oil passage that goes up to the rocker shaft supposed to be connected to the oil passage in the side of the block , the one with the little recessed hex head plug right below the dist. cap ? I filled the hole in the top of the block with oil , and it gradually drains away , but poking down with a wire , the hole isn't long enough to reach the passage in the side of the block. Is there a restrictor in the vertical part ? Or another direction that the oil comes from ....??? Thanks, Dale
