I have two carbs that I'm working with. I just realized that they have different part numbers 29954-DB and 29953-DC. By my book, and correct me if I'm wrong, the 29954 is a kerosene carb and the 29953 is gasoline. The only difference I can see is the venturi. Kerosene carb has a lot smaller venturi than the gas. Kerosene labeled 21 and gasoline is labeled 24. I'm assuming it would be best to use the gasoline venturi. Is this correct? Also what other differences is there between the two carbs that I'm not seeing?
On both carbs there is a small brass tube that is connecting the lower and upper bodies. I can't tell for sure but I think it's the main air bleed. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyone had experiance with fixing this? Any idea where I could get something to replace it?
