To those who offered advice and support to my posting of a bad nosie in the H tranny, it was the pilot bearing in the main input shaff for the transmission. After I got the tran case lid off and spun a back wheel the wobble in the drive shaft where the front and rear shaft join was pretty apparent. I fished the remains of the roller bearing out of the bottom of the case as confirmation. Upon examination I found the slider gears were moderately worn as well. I bought a salvaged gear train from Mr Glynn Brink, Farragut, Iowa and reinstalled. The gear train had a very serviceable bearing included! Learned two things (1) contrary to I T manual you don't have to remove clutch shaft to get the geear train out and (2) Glynn tells me that M's never had pilot bearing failures and H had them frequently. Pleased it wasn't any worse to repair than it was. I studied the clutch removal process and don't think I ever want to do that. Thanks for your help. Dick

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
