Noisy transmission on Farmall 100

It seems like the transmission of my 100 whines an awful lot when under load. Especially in 4th gear. It does it in reverse too, but not nearly as bad and the pitch of the whine is different. Does anybody out there have any idea what is causing this? Could there be a bearing going out? The fluids have all been changed and I don't see any abnormal gear wear when looking through the oil fill hole.
