This one does have the trim screw on the back. Tractor s/n is 104,000 range.
Old spring was pinned at the ends, new one has hooks.
P/N installed was 49407DBX. Spring hooked through holes now.
I agree it seems like a wear or binding issue, but everything seems to be in great conditiion. Starting to agree with the wrong parts installed scanario.
Engine is in top shape, 150+ psi compression on all 4.
