I cool mine off on diesel and then shut it down on gas. It seems to restart easier that way (less smoke) I ALWAYS pull the decompression lever back to diesel after it turns off on gas. This is the way the book says to do it so I do it that way.
Not a bad price. Better if the rear tires are good.
The manuals will replace this website anyday. This is the best one out there though. Guy Fay has some good books about Farmall history and tractors and all that.
