hi, i just bought a farmall super md and heres the deal i would like to more about these things and was wondering if there were any good websites or anything of that nature. This tractor is all original, the engine has been overhauled once in its life, it shows 6,000 hours on it, new clutch, new rear tires, runs great on gas and switches to diesel perfectly, it does smoke all the time but not much, no leaks whatsoever, trans good no noise whatsoever, live hydralics, pretty much all it needs is paint but im not sure im goin to paint it, i kinda like the HISTORIC look, idk. Tell me what you guys think! oh and also is there an absolute way to start these engines such as run time on gas before switch to diesel, and do you shut it off on diesel or switch to gas before shutting her down. the guy i bought it from told me how i was just wondering to make sure. ANY information would be very greatly appreceated. THANK YOU! oh and also i paid 3,500 for it, was that to much?
