I've had a few problems with the electricals on my H. First I got 2 new front lights that, after I painted everything, aren't grounding right. If I solder some wire to the bulb housing and drill a hole under the light housing would grounding it to the chasis ground where the battery grounds be acceptable? I know they work because I can take them off and mount one at a time on the back and they work so I figure it's the ground. Also my amp gauge is messed up I'm pretty sure. It charges because the battery hasn't died yet and when I turn the lights on (the back light is the only one that comes on) it shows charge or discharge. Depends how she feels that day I guess ha. Do you guys think it's the gauge or my wiring? or both? When I took it apart to rewire it was wired in a way that I haven't seen on any diagram. Appartently the lights had brights and dims then the 2 charging levels. Thanks for any help
