Hello, I ave a Farmall 450 gas engine tractor. Starts just fine and dandy and runs well. But when I have the lever at full throttle, it does not seem to have a high enough RPM. I am assuming that I need to be at the highest throttle when I want the PTO to be at 540 RPM? That's the first question. Second, how do I adjust the throttle to give me more? It looks like the adjustment (looks like something you twist and it makes a linkage get a little longer) is all the way out, so I can't adjust that anymore. What do I need to check/adjust? something with the governor?
