Pete 23, you guessed it. It was at least primarily the check valve. When I disassembled it, the o-ring that is "supposed" to be on the shuttle or that piston in there was missing/GONE. That's right, completely gone. No sign of an o-ring at all. I didn't have the exact o-ring for it but I had one close enough to run it and see if it corrected my problem and it was a happy time in the shop. I hooked up to my tiller and checked the lift cylinder before I dove into the check valve and it passed the test. So, I was still hooked up to the tiller from doing the cylinder test and when I reinstalled the check valve, with my test o-ring, I could lift my tiller with not much more than a low idle. A very happy time. I STILL HAVE A POWER STEERING ISSUE. I haven't done a pressure test on it yet. It has always worked very well until this issue arrived. I will be running some tests this weekend and post the results. BUT, in the mean time, if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions for either some tests to run or what to look for as a possible problem, please post your thoughts. Again, thank to everyone SO FAR, for the help you have offered. A special thank you to Pete23 for his suggestion that was my specific problem. I have the proper o-rings coming for what I need and as soon as I get them in the mail, I will install them. Thanks again guys, its awesome to get it right, I appreciate it very much. Tod, Michigan.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
