Hello all,
I am in the process of removing the C-135 engine from my 1962 International 340 utility tractor so I can rebuild it. As far as I can tell I have everything unbolted, but I can't get it to to break loose from the transmission case. The front of the engine is completely free. I removed 4 bolts (2 each side) at the transmission along with 2 bolts in the dust cover. I used an engine hoist and picked the front of the tractor up via the engine, jumped up and down on the engine and kicked it a few times to no avail.
This is the first engine I've pulled from a tractor. Is there something I am missing here? Do I have to unbolt something in the clutch area?
