Check you starting valves to make sure they are not sticking, one of them could be stuck in open position, you can check them after taking valve cover off, and when you have compression lever in diesel mode, the caps over starting valves should be up all the way. I would determine which cylinder is missing by opening injectors one a time. When you determine which cylinder is missing, you can look for that starting valve, and make sure its coming up all the way.
