Pulling front pulley off an H

I drove out the pin on the very front of the crankshaft. Now i need to know, does the 1 3/4" nut in front of the pulley thread off or will it come off with the pulley? And if it threads off what is the best way to go about removing the nut and then pulley? Any assistance is appreciated.
