I am wanting to start doing my own corn and soybean planting. Will need a 6/30 planter to match the hired harvesters combine head. My question is what is a good older planter? Would like a ground driven planter but am open to all suggestions. (if it's an air planter i would probalby need a pto driven pump as the 460 probalby doesn't have the hydrolic capacity? ) Also not a big deal as boxes can probably be added to most planters but would like to have dry fertilizer and herbicide boxes. Would like to stay under the $3,000 dollar mark, thanks for any help or input! Also should mention i do not want a no-till.
