Why would engine from 1800 rpm 560 put into 706 not turn the 706 at 2100 to give 540 pto rpm ? 560 transmission was geared to make 540 pto at 1800. 706 was geared to make 540 pto at 2100. It makes no difference which tractor or other machine the engine may have been in previously, if installed in the 706, when it reaches 2100 rpm it will turn the pto at 540. You could do the opposite transfer and the 706 engine, when it reached 1800, would turn the 560's pto at 540.
