now that i have a 3rd head gasket ordered to fit my 39 A with no water pump, i have to change the oil and filter agin for the 4rth time. with not to much water and antifreeze in each time , will and , or have hurt my fresh re-build? its always been real slipery mix. valve cover in side always had a rust and dark mildew inside at top. i cleand every time putting it back on.whats the thought of that being inside the clean block from the re-build. should i do something that i dont know? thanks for the help past and preasent, mark in iowa.
