My Farmall H Parts catalog with a Feb. 1960 print date shows the change at s/n 15698 (early 1940) to a different steering post. The reference replacement at that time was the complete assembly 352964R91 which replaced the earlier steering post p/n 51129DXA used on s/n's 501-15697. There was another steering post change later in the Farmall H production run at s/n 275971 and up to yet another configuration. The top transmission cover also changed at s/n 15698 but that change was probably necessiated for a different reason and not the steering post attachment method or a revised hole pattern. I'm guessing a steering pedestal from a Super H would be different then the one on your tractor and would probably be the later one introduced at s/n 275971 or even a different variation if unique to a Super H. Hope this helps, Hal.
