Alright got myself elbow deep into that hole today (boy that sounds wrong lol) but I did spin that shaft with and without the PTO engaged and and it was quiet. Im going to have to remove that Main shaft pilot bearing as you called it and see if that is loose when I put it into the center of those input shaft gears. Im assuming it should fit in there snug. If not it could make a rattling noise I would think.. Right? Also does anyone know what that main shaft pilot bearing looked like originally because Id like to know if this is some poor fitted replacement or if its original. I would have expected it to be an open cage bearing since its in the tranny. This one is a sealed bearing.... Anyone know for sure what it should look like?
