Manifold Leak?

My Super C is running pretty ugly. It only wants to run partly choked, stalls easily, no power etc. Air screw doesn't seem to be doing anything. I've cleaned out the carburator, lines, tank, and sediment screen and it's getting plenty of gasoline flow. Manifold has a half dozen welds on it and asbestos and hose clamp on the exhaust. Found a hole (on the intake) and plugged it but it could be leaking in a number of places. Does that sound like it's leaking?
