On H4 magnetos, why do some impluse drive members have square lugs and others round? Is there a difference between the two? Is a round-lugged one stamped "R" the same as a square lugged one without a stamp? and is there any reason it should not work on a Farmall A/B? I"ve got one (round-lug) that I put on a B and it timed correctly when mounted, but engine ran ROUGH!!!!! Put another (square-lug) on and it ran smooth. Of course, there might be something else going on, but the difference in impluse couplings caught my eye. Thanks in advance for the expert advise.
